Litro de Luz: Solar Lights for Remote Villages in Brazil

The Audi Environmental Foundation and Audi do Brasil have already been supporting the NGO Litro de Luz Brasil since 2022. Their goal: to provide people in remote areas without electricity with solar lighting. This year, we supported an action in the Corumbá region in the Pantanal, the world’s largest inland wetland and a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve. I

Greenovation Island: An Island Made of Recycled Glass Sand

Our Greenovation Island at the Bayou Bienvenue was recently planted. As a result, additional habitat was created for native plants and animal species.

About the foundation

Audi Environmental Foundation GmbH actively supports research into new technologies and scientific methods for environmental education and research. Its stated goal is to support environmental projects and to through research and educational initiatives. The Foundation focuses in particular on promoting and developing technologies in the environmental sector, measures for environmental education and protecting the natural necessities of life for humans, animals and plants. It was established in 2009 by AUDI AG as a 100-percent subsidiary and is part of the company’s social and environmental commitment.
