Announcement – UN Simulation on Germany’s Highest Mountain

For the first time, a United Nations simulation for students will take place from 9 to 10 July on Germany’s highest mountain. The initiative by the Felix Neureuther Foundation is carried out in cooperation with the Audi Environmental Foundation and the United Nations. The focus will be on the topic:
“UN Plastics Agreement: What’s next? Resumption of UN negotiations on a global plastics agreement.”

The project is a matter close to the hearts of Felix Neureuther and Christian Neureuther in their hometown of Garmisch-Partenkirchen.

The Bavarian Zugspitze Railway acts as host. Implementation is supported by the market town of Garmisch-Partenkirchen and the youth center PULS Garmisch-Partenkirchen. The simulation itself is organized by the German Model United Nations (DMUN) e.V.

Experiencing EU climate policy up close: Simulation game at Ingolstadt City Hall

At the end of April, Ingolstadt City Hall became the venue for the EU simulation game “Experience European Politics!”. Students from several Ingolstadt grammar schools (Gymnasien) with a focus on Politics and Society spent two days discussing a fictional proposal by the European Commission on emissions trading, gaining insight into how political negotiation processes work.

Girls’ Day at the Environmental Campus: Experiencing Innovation and Environmental Protection

On this year’s Girls’ Day, the Audi Environmental Foundation was represented for the first time with a workshop. The focus: the Audi Horchbox, through which participants experienced technology and environmental protection in practice using the example of bird call recognition.

Greenovation Island: An Island Made of Recycled Glass Sand

Our Greenovation Island at the Bayou Bienvenue was recently planted. As a result, new habitats for native plants and animal species can now be created there and thus a sustainable basis for the biodiversity of tomorrow.
