Which animals live in the forest? Which plants grow along the trails? And what can be discovered in nature when you take a closer look? These were the questions explored by the Audi Summer Kids during an excursion to the Kösching Forest.

Initiated by the Audi Environmental Foundation and organized in cooperation with Audi’s Corporate Citizenship team and gfi, twelve children had the opportunity to explore the forest together with a forest educator as part of the “Audi Summer Kids” holiday program. The aim was to discover nature in a playful way and experience local biodiversity with all their senses.

Between insects, wild plants, and exciting observations in nature, there was plenty to discover. The children learned about native plants such as wild mint and St. John’s wort, observed forest wildlife, and gained insights into their habitats. Nature-based and movement games provided additional variety, as did a small exploration tour featuring hidden toy dinosaurs.
