Plogging – Jogging and collecting waste with Audi Environmental Foundation

The idea is to collect trash lying along the running track while jogging and then dispose of it properly at the end of the jogging session. Plogging combines active environmental protection with physical exercise and the opportunity to meet new people and to do good things together. A positive side effect: there is less waste along running tracks, roads and forest paths!

The Audi Environmental Foundation will once again be offering several plogging events this year. The dates will be announced here on the website in good time. Registration is requested. All interested parties are invited, regardless of whether they are Audi employees or not.

Plogging on World Earth Day 2025
To mark World Earth Day on April 22, 2025, we set out on extended plogging tours at the Ingolstadt, Neuburg, and Neckarsulm locations. Strengthened by a warm-up session, the teams began their routes with motivation. Following the long Easter weekend, a considerable amount of litter was collected in the respective areas.
Plogging with project partners at the GREENTECH FESTIVAL in Berlin
The Audi Environmental Foundation was once again represented with several projects at the GREENTECH Festival 2023. As in the previous year, project partners of the environmental foundation and employees met again for a joint plogging session in Berlin, demonstrating their commitment to environmental protection even after the trade fair had closed.
Plogging with FC Ingolstadt 04 and Audi BKK
Another highlight was the joint plogging with FC Ingolstadt 04 and Audi BKK. After a short warm-up, we set off jogging. The route ran around the Auwaldsee lake and everyone was very enthusiastic. The participants from the soccer club and the health insurance company found the dual benefit of the activity ideal, as plogging combines the two aspects of picking up litter for the environment and doing something good for your own health by jogging together.
Plogging campaign awarded Ramadama prize
With around a dozen plogging campaigns carried out, a major contribution was made to keeping Ingolstadt's paths and popular jogging routes clean. Ingolstadt's municipal services have honored this campaign in 2019 and 2022.
