More than 55 teams with over 1,500 students from a wide range of nations were part of this year's Formula Student Austria. A jury carefully tested the various formula racing cars, which the teams had built with a lot of efforts and enthusiasm, regarding design, cost planning and business model. Additionally, the race cars had to prove their driving qualities on the race track. Quite similar to the formula of the Society of Automotive Engineers!

Of course, we also brought along our very special "race car": the e-rickshaw! Alexander Kupfer, an expert in sustainable production concepts at Audi, and Prodip Chatterjee, co-founder of the German-Indian start-up Nunam, held two suitable informative workshops on second-life batteries.

It was fascinating to watch all the different race cars on the test track and meet the talented faces behind the designs. We are looking forward to being part of the next Formula Student Austria again!
